  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup (your preferred natural sweetener)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, sweetener (honey or maple syrup), egg, and baking soda. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Shape the Dough: Use a spoon or cookie scoop to form dough balls, about 1 tablespoon in size. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Flatten the Dough: Using a fork, gently press down on each dough ball to create a criss-cross pattern on top.
  • Bake: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden. The cookies should be soft in the middle but firm around the edges.
  • Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
