Ingredients

  • 1 large French bread loaf (or Italian bread)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf in half lengthwise and place it cut-side up on the baking sheet.
Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush it evenly over the bread.
Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, half of the mozzarella, half of the Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the loaf: Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture over each bread half. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Slice and enjoy warm!
