Delicious Beef and Bean Burritos: A Quick and Easy Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, pinto beans, or kidney beans
  • 4 large flour tortillas 10-inch
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional toppings: fresh cilantro diced tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños
  • 1 lb ground beef

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 lb of ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Prepare the Beans: If using canned beans, drain and rinse 1 can of beans. Heat them in a separate pan for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 15-20 seconds to make them more pliable.
  4. Assemble the Burritos: On each tortilla, add a portion of beef, beans, shredded cheese, and any other toppings you prefer (sour cream, salsa, lettuce, etc.). Fold in the sides and roll the burrito.
