Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • 8 oz orzo or pasta linguine, spaghetti, or fettuccine

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta and set aside.
  2. Sauté shrimp in olive oil and butter until cooked through.
  3. Make the creamy garlic sauce with butter, garlic, white wine, cream, and Parmesan.
  4. Combine pasta, shrimp, and sauce, tossing to coat.
  5. Garnish with parsley and lemon juice, then serve.
